The AT-4 is manufactured on the same production line that produces Certified aircraft AT-3. The certification requirements and superior craftsmanship is evident both above and below the skin of the AT-4. Aluminum parts are anodized, a corrosion protection process superior to traditional zinc chromate. All steel parts are Cadmium plated for corrosion protection. Each wing skin is a single piece of aluminum from wing root to wing tip, thereby eliminating unsightly section lines and creating a seamless beautiful (and efficient wing). Standard Aircraft Rivets are used throughout the AT-4, which is very different from the blind rivets used by other Light Sport Aircraft manufacturers. The AT-4 also has robust steel landing gear making it ideal for the daily rigors of flight training.
